What are your hours of operation?

We operate from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday and we’re closed on Saturday and Sunday. You can also view this information and more on our Google Plus page:

I need an Owner's Manual or other documentation for my product.

Here on our website if you go to PRODUCTS and find the particular product you have, you will find in the tab to the right of the picture (or below, if you’re viewing on mobile), a tab labelled “Downloadable Documents” here are all applicable documents for that product. All you need to do then is click on what you need and you can view/print/download to whatever your prefer. 

Is constant maintenance required for the wheelchair?

No, it is advisable to regularly check that your wheelchair is performing to the best that can by making things such as sure screws are tighten and wheels are fully filled with air. Please refer to your Owner’s Manual for regular maintenance. However if you experience any major problems please contact us (Go to our Contact Us page) and call or email us and we’ll handle the problem as soon as we can.

Will the wheelchair take the strain?

Yes! Here at Power Plus Mobility we design all our wheelchairs to handle the person using it (As long as it is in the advisable weight limit) and any environment it is put through. It is designed to meet all the challenges in its way to better serve the user.

Are your wheelchairs customizable?

Yes, all our wheelchairs are customizable to the exact specifications that we are given. You start by choosing the wheelchair that best applies to the person using it and then we add customized cushions and accessories that cater to what’s needed. Can I buy directly from Power Plus Mobility?

Unfortunately we do not sell directly to the general public. We sell through a dealer network. This is because all our products are ADP funded which requires purchasing through an authorized ADP distributor. However, you can contact us to find the closest ADP distributor near you.

Do I need to assemble the wheelchair when it comes?

No assembly is required! Your dealer will set the chair up for you to allow for maximum comfort. However, it is highly recomeneded you  do regular maintenance in order for the chair to perform at maximum ability. Please refer to the owner’s manual for more information about maintenance.

My wheelchair is broken. How do I get it repaired?

Don’t worry (However there are some limitations which will be discussed) First off, Power Plus Mobility Inc. guarantees all parts of our wheelchair & power products to be free of defects in workmanship, materials and electronics for a period of two years from the date of purchase. “Wear” items such as tires, tubes, arm pads and upholsteries are excluded from this warranty. In addition the frame and cross braces are guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and material (to the original purchaser) for a period of 5 years. However this warranty is invalid if the chair has been damaged by accident, misuse, neglect, improper application, unauthorized service repair or the addition of non-factory approved accessories. Power Plus Mobility Inc. will repair or replace defective parts as required. A return authorization must be obtained and the parts returned to us within the warranty period. Labour and freight charges incurred for replacements or repairs are not covered.

With that aside, if your wheelchair abides by the following, go to our website and find your product. One of our downloadable documents will be the Limited Warranty which you should use while contacting us here at Power Plus Mobility about the problem. We will then be able to direct you into what needs to be done. (Which may be done through the dealer in which you purchased our product) When the problem occurs please immediately contact us so we can deal with the problem as soon as possible.
